Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
EFNEP transforms lives by teaching families to make healthier choices, stretch their food dollars, and prepare delicious, nutritious meals at home. Through interactive workshops, participants learn skills to:
Who can participate?
EFNEP is designed for limited-income parents/caregivers with children under age 19. Participants gain practical knowledge to improve their overall health and well-being.

UConn SNAP-Ed Food Security Project
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education (SNAP-Ed) addresses food insecurity while promoting healthy eating and active living. UConn Extension works with individuals, schools, and community organizations to foster sustainable changes in nutrition and lifestyle.
